Rode to the Beer Hut for the Grand Opening, LiL Mouse and I had a
couple cold ones in Brooksville to start the ride. Finally my ridin partners
showed Big Joe & John and it was off south, didn’t make it far, had to
stop at the Sail INN for another cold one, Then it was south. Got to the Beer
Hut a little early for the festivities, but helped the Big Ragoo unload his
supplies for the party. It was a good party (or what I seen of it) food was
excellent and a pretty girl to serve it to you. Then it was further south to
Brass Flamingo where LiL Mouse had more fun than we did ( Imaginations can run
free).

Then it was off to the house, which LiL Mouse slept all the way home on the back of my hard tail, was only about 60 miles. Our next Adventure was the swap meet in Webster, it was hotter than hell but a lot of bikers made the ride, Talked to a few folks that rode up from Tampa area. You can always find a good bargain there, Picked up a few parts for my chopper over the years. Sometimes you got to dig a little for what you need but it is worth it. It’s worth going if

Took the family to Florida National Cemetery for the memorial day ceremony, they always put on a wonderful ceremony to honor our veterans. The Defender M/C rode in with an estimated 300 + bikes in honor of our fallen veterans. It is always an honor to see the men, women and the children that come out to show their support for AMERICA. Rode up to Windy Acres Farm in Fruitlin Park on July 11th to test out the new T-back tractor pullin sled, they have done one hell of a job building this thing, it is a mini version of the one pulled by the monster tractors, the more u pull it the weights(cases of bud light) move forward. Hope to see that in action. They still have the 150 ft slip-n-slide for those who bare.No Skool will be there all weekend in October helpin out where we can. Check in SCOOTERGOODS for the dates so you can mark the ca lender. No Skool: It was the last party for Charlies plumbing at
Leesburg bike fest. Special thanks to Ken, Miskey and the Tri County Geezers.
Those Geezers always opened the gate for free parkin for bikes & campin.
Sure are gonna miss campin right on main street, was always a surcure place to
park your scoot for the day or three. Lil Mouse & I Rode up to Gator Harley
for the first of the bikini contest, what some pretty girls (dont think the
right girl won, always have my faverit). Then we Stopped by the Rat Hole bike
show for a few minutes but the same girls were there, so we didn’t stay long.
There were some awesome bikes in the bike show, but the Rat Hole always does
where ever their at. Got some great ideas for the next NO SKOOL project. It was
off to Jesse Blacks about 8pm Saturday nite, always a good place to stop for a
cold beer or six and some of the best lookin girls in Leesburg for bike fest.
One thing about it, Leesburg bikefest is getting bigger & bigger every year,
hope every one made it home safe. Two weeks later it was time for the number 4
rated biker party in the country, The 6th annual Old Skool Biker Rodeo, thanks
J.O. for puttin on an awsome party, takes a lot to put on a party like this.
Special thanks to Capt. Scotty for feedin the staff, thanks to all the staff
members for helpin out Cant say a hole lot about what went on down at the
arena, didn’t see a whole lot of that area exsept for the bike games witch as
usual Steve & Jackie won most of them, Steve did loose his title in the slow
race this year(sorry steve, better luck next year). Lil mouse took second place
in the Viberator races, Chopper Nation took a whippin from No Skool in the
jousting match before the bike games. Special thanks also goes out to the BIG
RAGOO for keppin the crowd occupied during the whole thing. I’ve been hearing
bits and pieces of the weekend and it sounds like everyone had a hell of a good
time.
